As a community it is our obligation to support New Muslims. The problem is, most of us don't know how. This training will enable you to understand how to give the right support to New Muslims. The programme includes:
* Why do people convert to Islam?
* FIQH for new muslims
* Problems that arise and how to deal with them, including short term and long term support.
* Practical training - Role Play Scenarios (questions/misconseptions/issues), Running Events and Circles.
* Setting up local projects that cater for New Muslims

An opportunity to support the dawah and educational projects in Tunisia after the revolution.
Money from ticket sales and donations will be spent to help the orphans, displaced families and on dawah and educational projects.

Come and learn the Art and Practice of inviting people to Islam
Learn the necessary skills of delivering Dawah, through this exclusive Dawah training course. WAMY invites you to come along to the Dawah sessions; in which you will be trained by inspirational and highly qualified Islamic scholars. You will learn the art and practice of conducting efficient Dawah by professional scholars. The course is delivered and comprised of four different modules; each module covers essential profound topics concerning Islam. The topics will range from, presenting Islam to the western world; dealing with misconceptions, confronting western stereotypical prejudice and how to engage with the media. Engaging with the media is discussed primarily in the third module, it is imperative that we understand how the media works and make non- Muslims acknowledge the biasness of the media’s portrayal of Islam. The final module will discuss the parallels and similarities of Islam in its relation to other monotheistic religions. By expanding your knowledge of Islam, understanding its affiliation with other religions and also understanding how the media works, you will have the ability to rebuke all misconceptions about Islam.These courses provide practical training for potential Dawah preachers; they aim to teach the practicality and skills used for conducting Dawah.This course goes beyond theory and you will be able to practise what you learn in workshops.

On the 11th of June 2010 Regents Park Mosque opened its doors to an exclusive exciting event. WAMY UK, the Muslim World League London in conjunction with Islamic Cultural Centre organised a major Islamic awareness event. Open doors, stories and journey’s the inspirational event, which captured the interest of many, was targeted to all non Muslims, inviting them to look at Islam from a different glance.
The main purpose of the event was to dissolve social tensions between the Muslim community and the western community, to promote community cohesion and peace between the two worlds.
The event comprised of various activities, it was an action packed day filled with many exciting activities. Visitors had the opportunity to engage in many activities, which included, Henna paintings, Arabic calligraphy, face painting and engaging in the art of marbling. A selection of Islamic videos was also being viewed, for those who wanted to deepen their understanding about Islam. A display of sweets, hijabs, colourful posters, Islamic artefacts was also exhibited at the event.
Alhamdulilah the event proved to be a success, attracting a wide range of people from various backgrounds and occupations. Guests included head teachers, representatives from different faith groups, the police and members from many organisations attended this exclusive event. Guests showed their gratitude and appreciation for having access to the mosque and having the opportunity to witness the Islamic culture.
The event gained much positive feedback from visitors and guests, guests learned many things about Islam. Alhamdulilah this event helped to change the stereotypical misconstrued image some had about islam. Common western misconceptions and stereotypical views many had prior to the event were dissolved, and replaced with an impartial and comprehensive view of Islam.
